Sylvan Lake RCMP say a police drawing of a man described in a liquor store robbery has netted a suspect.
On Monday, a man armed with a screwdriver entered the Plaza Liquor Store on 50th Street in Sylvan Lake and took an undisclosed amount of cash and liquor. Police released a drawing of the suspect on Wednesday.
Peter Elvin Hofer, 44, of Sylvan Lake has been charged with one count of robbery and one count of possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes.
Hofer has been released on bail with conditions to appear in Red Deer provincial court on Nov. 7.
