RCMP have released the name of an Edmonton woman who died Thursday evening in a single-vehicle rollover, approximately 10 kilometres south of Innisfail.
Trudy Yeung lost her life after the small SUV she was driving, which was headed north, rolled and came to rest in the south-bound lane of Hwy 2. She died at the scene of the accident.
A passenger – Fong Wong of Toronto – was air-lifted by STARS to hospital in Calgary with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Both women were wearing their seatbelts and police say alcohol was not a factor.
No charges are being considered according to police.
