The estimated three-year, $18 million Ponoka Composite High School modernization project is well underway. The first of three phases of the development will include classroom renovations and new administration offices while the second phase involves creating a new science park, science classrooms and science lab. The final phase would introduce a few fine arts area, theatre and gym and Career and Technology Studies area to the high school. Phases 1 and 2 are expected to be complete in 2012 with the third phase possibly completed by 2013.
