The City of Red Deer is experiencing a power outage in west Kentwood and north Glendale.
This power outage affects about 500 residents. It is anticipated power will be restored for most in about two hours.
Some residents may experience an outage for a longer period of time, up to four hours, while cables are restored.
Initial reports indicate the power outage was caused when an individual in the area struck a cable line.
