The nine-year-old girl and the nine-month-old dog were readying to take part in the Easter bonnet category of the show, an event they tied for first place in.
The annual three-day show hosted by the Red Deer and District Kennel Club drew about 500 dogs to compete in a variety of obedience and conformation classes continues today at Westerner Park.
