Red Deer's two CARSTAR locations recently donated $5,000 to the Red Deer Food Bank and Red Deer Christmas Bureau.

CARSTAR Red Deer and CARSTAR Red Deer South have now raised $47,000 for the two nonprofit organizations since 2003.

“As a team, we are proud to contribute to organizations that make such a positive difference in our community,” said Carson Westling, associate manager at CARSTAR Red Deer.

“It’s heartwarming to know that our efforts help families enjoy a brighter holiday season.”

The Red Deer Christmas Bureau, a nonprofit with more than 60 years of history, helps children and families in need during the holiday season by providing a full Christmas meal and ensuring parents can give their children gifts. The Red Deer Food Bank, another nonprofit organization, supports individuals and families by providing access to food and promoting healthy living.

“Giving back to the community has always been a priority for us at CARSTAR Red Deer and South,” said Jordyn Hemstreet, senior body technician at CARSTAR Red Deer South.

“We’re honoured to support these incredible organizations that are making such a profound impact on families and individuals in our community.”
