Red Deer gas station robbed at knifepoint

RCMP are looking for an armed robber who stole cigarettes from the Grandview Fas Gas on Feb. 2.

At about 11:23 p.m., police responded to the convenience store after a man with a knife fled with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes.

No one was injured at the store, located at 4023 Ross St.

The man was seen southbound on foot along 41st Avenue and was last seen near First Baptist Church.

He was described as Caucasian, 1.6 to 1.7 metres tall (five feet five inches to five feet seven inches), weighing 59 to 68 kg (130 to 150 pounds), with brown hair, a goatee and moustache.

A dark coloured or black truck, possibly a Ford Ranger, was seen in the area and may been involved in the getaway.
