A Red Deer man who was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision near Eckville on Wednesday night has died.

A Red Deer man who was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision near Eckville on Wednesday night has died.

Sylvan Lake RCMP have confirmed that Adam Fink, 25, died in hospital after the car he was driving collided with an SUV operated by a woman at the intersection of Hwys 11 and 766.

The woman was heading west on Hwy 11 and attempted to turn south on Hwy 766 when her vehicle collided with Fink’s eastbound car, police said.

Both drivers were taken to Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for treatment. Fink was transferred from there to Foothills Hospital in Calgary.
