A Red Deer man wanted on 10 outstanding warrants has been arrested in British Columbia.

RCMP arrested 27-year-old Victor Snell on Tuesday in the southern interior community of Nelson. He was found driving a pickup truck reported stolen from a Red Deer home on June 23.

Snell remains in police custody.

Police say the man had outstanding warrants in connection with criminal charges stemming from incidents in Red Deer in 2009 and 2010. The charges included possession of a prohibited weapon, assault of a police officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and three counts of assault with a weapon
