A keen-eyed police officer has located and arrested a Red Deer man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
An officer with Red Deer City RCMP recognized fugitive Brian Curtis McFadden as he was walking on the street and arrested him without incident on Friday, said Const. Sabrina Grunow, media liaison officer for the detachment.
McFadden, 28, has been unlawfully at large since breaching conditions of his parole in December, said Grunow.
His criminal history stretches back to 2000, including assault, drug trafficking and various property crimes.
