Red Deer Public Schools launches Open House Series

Red Deer Public Schools is set to invite families and the community into schools as the division launches its inaugural Open House series.

Schools across the division will host open house event between April 10 to May 16.

“The purpose of our open houses is to continue to build connections and relationships with our students, families, as well as the community,” said Chad Erickson, Red Deer Public superintendent.

“Attendees will get an inside look at what makes our schools exceptional. Meet the incredible staff, learn about programming, and see where your child learns and grows.”

Schools will showcase programs and extracurricular activities during the Open House Series.

“Our families are always welcome into our schools, but we look forward to offering a more formal opportunity to engage with students, families and the broader community,” said Erickson.

“Families will leave their child’s designated school with confidence knowing that they are in the right place to learn and grow.”
