Red Deer RCMP need public assistance in hit-and-run investigation

Red Deer RCMP are hoping the public can help track down the driver involved in a hit-and-run that happened on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said at about 12:20 p.m., a white 2000 Dodge Ram was seen driving southbound in the northbound lane on Gaetz Avenue, near 34 Street. The pickup hit another vehicle and fled the scene without stopping.

Police are actively investigating the incident and are seeking the public's assistance. 

Anyone who was in the area during the time of the incident with dash camera footage, or any information, is asked to contact Red Deer RCMP at 403-406-2200.
