Two men are in custody after RCMP seized drugs with a street value of more than $150,000 on Wednesday following a search of a West Park residence.
The RCMP Red Deer City Street Team has seized large quantities of ecstacy tablets, psilocybin (magic mushrooms), more than one kg of marijuana, and several thousand dollars in cash.
On Wednesday the RCMP street team executed a judicially authorized search warrant on a residence on Westpark Crescent. As a result of the first search RCMP Officers executed a second search warrant on a storage unit outside the city limits. Between the two sites police seized the cash and more than $150,000 in drugs.
Two adult males, the occupants of the residence in West Park, were taken into custody with out incident. The two men have not been named as charges are pending. The investigation continues.
