Alberta Transportation Minister Luke Ouellette, Red Deer North MLA Mary Anne Jablonski and Red Deer South MLA Cal Dallas will join Mayor Morris Flewwelling in a special announcement on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the bus barns at the Red Deer Civic Yards.

A city official has confirmed the announcement will centre on Green TRIP funding for additional buses.

Green Transit Incentives Program (GreenTRIP) supports new and expanded public transit throughout Alberta.
