The City of Red Deer will receive funding from the provincial government towards new transit buses.
Alberta Transportation Minister Luke Ouellette, Red Deer North MLA Mary Anne Jablonski and Red Deer South MLA Cal Dallas will join Mayor Morris Flewwelling in a special announcement on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the bus barns at the Red Deer Civic Yards.
A city official has confirmed the announcement will centre on Green TRIP funding for additional buses.
