As warmer temperatures arrive in Red Deer, the Mustard Seed is making a desperate plea to the public.
In a media release on Tuesday, the organization said they have already gone through a few hundred cases of water in the past week and have "run out of water bottles to support those living on the street".
"With temperatures reaching close to 40 degrees over the next week, those individuals out all day on the street are about to face another heatwave," Mustard Seed said in the release.
Donations can be dropped off at the Red Deer Community Support Centre Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
