Alberta Health Services Lab Services vice president Tammy Hofer talks with Canada Blood Services charge nurse Marta Boutton after Hofer and two other Lab Services employees Joanne Brisbois and Camille Bailer donated blood on Tuesday. The three were participating in a month long donor challenge which will see laboratory professionals each of the five health region zones competing in a friendly battle to see which can bring in the most donors. The challenge coincides with National Laboratory Week April 24-30.
