Canadian Blood Services and the Rotary Clubs of Red Deer have partnered to launch the blood drive. The Challenge will run from May 11 to May 15 and is a friendly competition between the four Red Deer Rotary chapters to see which one can bring in the most blood donors and save the most lives. Along with setting a leadership example, it is hoped the members will bring in at least 50 units of blood.
