School meetings planned

Red Deer Public School District will host public meetings starting on Tuesday to discuss the reconfiguration of grades at G.H. Dawe, Normandeau and Glendale schools.

Red Deer Public School District will host public meetings starting on Tuesday to discuss the reconfiguration of grades at G.H. Dawe, Normandeau and Glendale schools.

The school district is determining if the north Red Deer schools should become kindergarten to Grade 8 schools in 2010 due to concerns over student achievement. Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. at:

l G. H. Dawe Community School on Tuesday

l Glendale Middle School on April 15

l Aspen Heights Elementary School on April 21

l Normandeau Elementary School on May 14
