The search continues for a missing man who was last seen on Nov. 18 in the Innisfail area.

Bruce Thacker, 50, was staying at a friend’s cabin west of Innisfail. He was suppose to be leaving the area and never arrived at his destination.

Thacker is described as 1.83 metres (six feet and two inches) tall and of medium build at about 95 kg (210 pounds).

He no longer has the beard or moustache shown in the photo released to the media.

His vehicle is also missing and is believed to be in his possession, It is a 2005 Chev Silverado pickup truck with a canopy on the back and Alberta licence number RZW 750.

Police say there is nothing to suggest foul play. Thacker has a history of mental challenges that suggests he may harm himself.

Family members say his disappearance it totally out of character.

A three-hour helicopter search of the Innisfail area on Tuesday, paid for by the family, did not uncover any clues to his disappearance.

Anyone who has seen or knows the whereabouts of Thacker or his vehicle is asked to contact the nearest police station.
