Deborah and Richard Popovich give three visitors a tour of their acreage on the C And E Trail south of Red Deer. The three ladies enjoyed an afternoon performance at the Popovich Dinner Theatre and then a walk through the garden on the property. The Popoviches were recently awarded a Red Deer County Rural Beautification award for the work they have done to their property. They were awarded the top spot in the Large Acreage and first place in the property tour award. Other winners in the program this year were Leona and Blaine Staples and their Jungle Farm for best Agri-Business/Tourism, Lois and Harrold Gilmour for the small acreage award and Doreen and Ray Depalme for the working farm award. The program has been on going for over 30 years.
