Like many other parts throughout Red Deer and much to the delight of some of the attending students, the playground at Joseph Welsh Elementary school is also subject to a little bit of flooding. With her mother patiently waiting at a safe distance, kindergarten student Mackenzie Crisp takes a few runs down the slide into approximately 12 cm of water. Her mother was overheard saying, “I’ll just have to wring her out when we get home.”
