Software upgrades will temporarily disrupt some city registration and transaction services next week.

The city's online registration website Look ‘n Book will be unavailable from Sept. 23 at about 4 p.m. to Sept. 26 at about 1 p.m.

The system that hosts Look ‘n Book, and all back-end registration functions for recreation, will be completely unavailable on Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. That means that city facilities will be cash only at that time, and all transactions will be unavailable online, in-person or over the phone for program registrations, activity reservations, program withdrawals and refund processing, payments on outstanding account balances, access to customer accounts and updating customer information, facility bookings, wedding spaces and picnic shelter bookings, transit pass sales, gift card sales, and fee assistance program applications.

These functions will resume on Sept. 25 over the phone and in person only. Full function will resume on Sept. 26.

Current data and information has been transferred to the new system, but customers should check their online accounts when the upgraded system is available on Sept. 26. For any issues, contact looknbook@reddeer.ca.

Programming scheduled on Sept. 23, and for the remainder of the week, will continue to be available for customers who have already reserved their sessions, and facilities remain open. Residents hoping to participate next week should register prior to Sept. 23.
