Don Adams Welding employee John Lawson and coworker Brandon Wierenga, move Q-decking roof panels around the site of the new stage at Bower Ponds on Friday. When complete, the $300,000 structure will feature a storage room, improved power servicing, canopy and sound control vault. Facilities at Bower Ponds are again open for the summer season starting today. The May 9 to 31 weekend and holiday hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and the facility is open weekdays from 4 to 9 p.m. Beginning June 1, hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Along with the new stage, a new playground is also being installed at Bower Ponds.
