Stettler RCMP continue their investigation into the death of a woman who was found dead in her home early Monday.

Sgt. Rowland Schmidt of Stettler police said Tuesday the 35-year-old woman was discovered in a home in the 4900 block of 50th Street in Stettler by emergency service personnel.

Schmidt said a cause of death hadn’t been determined but it was hoped answers would come from an autopsy conducted by the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.

Schmidt said police conducted a thorough investigation with assistance from the Red Deer forensic identification section and RCMP Edmonton headquarters officers from the major crimes unit.
