Sweet buggy treat

Jason Frizzell, left, chair of the RDC Visual Arts program, and Michael Kulchisky, Dean of Trades and Manufacturing Technologies, took up the challenge to consume a chocolate dipped grasshopper pie as part of a fundraiser for the United Way.

After raising over $600 the pair consumed the entomological delicassy without so much as a shudder, in front of an audience of about 60 people that had gathered in the Learning Commons.

Michael Kulchisky said it reminded him of youth, biking down a Saskatchewan highway on a hot summer day.
