Sylvan Lake residents celebrate 1913 Days

Two-day event began on Friday, June 6

Sylvan Lakers celebrated the town's heritage during 1913 Days this past weekend.

The event began on Friday, June 6 and wrapped up on Saturday, June 7.

On the first day, residents were able to participate the the Mayor's Seniors High Tea at the NexSource Centre, a farmers market in the Lakefront Park parking lot, an Art Show and Sale at the NexSource Centre, Sylvan Lake Cruise Night at the West Promonade parking lot, and free screenings of The Goonies and Wayne's World at Centennial Park.

The second day featured a Fire Hall pancake breakfast, the continuation of the Art Show and Sale, a Penny Carnival and Toddler Block Party at the NexSource Centre, horse-drawn wagon rides, a petting zoo, an antique car show, a soap box derby, and the 1913 Days Parade.
