Red Deer police are investigating after a boy was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday morning.
At about 9 a.m. police were called to a scene where it is alleged that a 13-year-old male was attempting to cross 22nd Street near Lindsey Avenue when he was hit by a white car traveling eastbound.
The youth was not crossing in a marked crosswalk or intersection.
Red Deer Emergency Services treated the youth and he was not taken to hospital.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
