Three males suspected of breaking into vehicles in the Eastview area early Monday face a property-related charge.

Red Deer city RCMP spokesman Const Chris Kosack said on Tuesday that police received a call about 1:35 a.m. on Monday concerning males peering into parked vehicles.

When police arrived, they located and detained three suspects, including a 13-year-old and two adults aged 20 and 22.

A search of the suspects revealed property that was believed to have been stolen.

All three are charged with possession of property obtained by crime. They have been released from custody.

No adults names have not yet been released, Kosack said. They both appear in Red Deer provincial court on Nov. 29.

The youth, who was released to the custody of a parent, appears in Red Deer youth court on Nov. 24.
