A dancer leaps during a performance by the group Noumoufassa for about 150 people at Crossroads Church Wednesday night. The dance and drum troupe, part of the international touring group Manding Jata, performed numerous West African musical numbers from the ancient Manding Empire, home of the fabled city of Timbuktu. The event was a fundraiser for the Bridges of Hope International Network of Development Agencies which provides social, health, educational and economic development services to 11 African nations.
