Quam along with 15 other horse trainers are taking part in the Canadian Championship Horse Training Competition at the ranch during the 33rd Annual Ivan Daines Country Music Picnic this weekend.

While the music plays on the main stage the horse trainers will go about their business in the ring working the horses which are all straight from the pasture.

On Sunday the best trainer will be awarded the championship on the last day of the music festival.

The Daines Ranch is located 6 km. north of Innisfail.
