Fire engulfs a heavy truck that had been travelling on Hwy 20, north of Rimbey on Friday afternoon.

Const. Matthew Bentz of the Rimbey RCMP said the truck driver pulled over when he saw smoke and flames shooting from the rear right side of his trailer.

Bentz said it appears one of the tires had overheated and caught fire, popping tires and brake lines.
