Two killed in crash near Hobbema

Two people died and one person was injured at noon today after a driver failed to stop at a stop sign near Hobbema.

Two people died and one person was injured at noon today after a driver failed to stop at a stop sign near Hobbema.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Hwy 611 east and Four Mile Road at 12:25 p.m.

Hobbema RCMP say two occupants in one vehicle died at the scene. The occupant in the other vehicle was transported to Wetaskiwin where STARS Air Ambulance took the person to Edmonton.

Police have not yet confirmed the identities of the victims.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash.
