The driver of a southbound sport utility vehicle talks to an RCMP officer after she lost control and slid into the Hwy 2 median south of the Hwy 42 overpass Thursday. A ferocious wind that drove the wind chill to minus 34 C at one point made driving between Gasoline Alley and Innisfail treacherous, as the drivers of at least six ditched vehicles found out.
