With the Red Deer River water levels receding now, several sections of the North Bank Trail within Waskasoo Park have reopened.
Due to spring run-off, the Red Deer River water levels are expected to fluctuate for a few more weeks, the City of Red said in a release on Friday.
Residents are advised to use caution near the river, obey all signage and barriers, and stay a safe distance from dangerous areas until river levels return to normal.
