"Rotary Park is now known as Rotary River," says Red Deer Advocate reader Jim Bakker, who emailed the Advocate these photos on Tuesday morning.
Overflowing creek waters from last night have expanded through Rotary Park and already closed down nearby roads.
Due to creek flooding, Rotary Park, including the washrooms, parking lot and picnic shelter, has been closed until further notice.
Park users are advised to obey all barricades and signs at Rotary Park. Trail users are asked to use caution in the area.
