Traffic along 40th Avenue at Ross Street was rerouted Thursday as this crew worked to repair the aging water line.

Truck rolls at Canyon Ski Resort

Landon Hick of Sylvan Lake climbs into his pickup truck to retrieve some personal belongings after crashing at the Canyon Ski Resort on Wednesday. Hick said he went into an uncontrollable skid after braking for a deer that ran out in front of him. City of Red Deer Emergency Services personnel responded to the collision. Hick and his companion Porshea Neufeld of Pine Lake who were at the resort to do some snowboarding were not injured in the crash.
