Thousands filled Westerner Park's three pavilions and Exhibition Hall for the 46th annual Red Deer Home Show.

The 46th edition of the annual event was hosted by the Building Industry and Land Development Association of Central Alberta from Friday, March 7 to Sunday, March 9.

"The 2025 Red Deer Home Show has been an unbelievable response from the community," said Chris Windrim, executive director of the Red Deer Home Show.

"We have exhibitors from all over Central Alberta — 90 per cent of these vendors are from Central Alberta. On top of that 100 per cent of our vendors are Canadian businesses. It's amazing to see. We've had crowds coming out from Central Alberta and beyond to support these businesses and celebrate community while they jump into spring. It's phenomenal to see people recognize the value of the Home Show."

This year's show featured about 220 different exhibitors and more than 430 booths. Windrim said the goal was to see about 10,000 attendees come through the doors over three days.

"This show is 25 per cent bigger than last year," said Windrim.

"We are very close to seeing our top numbers ever. This show will be one of our biggest shows on record. Looking to 2026 and 2027, we're really hoping that we're able to exceed those numbers. We want to provide the people of Central Alberta an even better experience, with more vendors. ... We're looking to make some new partnerships within our community and highlight some more of our amazing businesses."

The Red Deer Home Show highlights the residential construction industry.

"We have homebuilders, renovators, suppliers, trades, companies that provide roofing — a little bit of everything. It's a really diverse group of exhibitors we've had this year," said Windrim.

"When you look at the Red Deer Home Show, we want it to represent family. This is a place for the whole home of everybody who lives in Central Alberta. We can do that by celebrating the residential construction industry, celebrating our community and celebrating what makes Central Alberta great."

This year's event also featured live entertainment, a free kid zone, food options and belt sander races.
