Bentley Generals to host Horse Lake Thunder

The newly-crowned Chinook Hockey League champion Bentley Generals will host the Horse Lake Thunder Sunday and Monday in the first two games of a best-of-seven provincial senior AAA semifinal.

The opening game is set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Bentley, with Game 2 scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the Red Deer Arena.

The third and fourth contests will be played Feb. 25-26 in Horse Lake and, if necessary, the series will return to Bentley for a fifth game March 2.

Sixth and seventh games, if needed, will go March 4 and 7 at Horse Lake and Bentley.

Meanwhile, the other AAA semifinal will start Friday at Stony Plain, where the Eagles will entertain the Sylvan Lake Admirals.

The series will continue Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Sylvan Lake Multiplex.

Games 3 and 4 will be played Feb. 24-25 in Stony Plain and Sylvan Lake. Additional games are set for March 3-4 at Stony Plain and Sylvan Lake and March 7 at the home of the Eagles.
