Central Alberta Buccaneers fall to Calgary Wolfpack

The Central Alberta Buccaneers have fallen to 0-2 to start the 2025 Alberta Football League season.

The Bucs were bested by the Wolfpack Football Club 32-8 at Shouldice Athletic Park in Calgary on Saturday, June 7. This defeat came one week after the Bucs dropped the season opener to the Peace Country Cowboys.

Central Alberta will return home on Saturday, June 14 to host the Airdrie Irish.

The team will also play a road game against the Calgary Gators on June 21 and a home game against the Cold Lake Fighter Jets on July 5, before wrapping up the regular season with a road game against the Peace Country Cowboys.
