EDMONTON — The RDC badminton team placed third in the second Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference tournament of the season at NAIT during the weekend.
The RDC team still sits second overall.
The women led RDC as Mary Smith placed third in the women’s singles, an event she won the first time around, and Mizuki Awai was fourth.
Smith and Awai hooked up to take third in the women’s doubles while Smith and Dave King were third in mixed doubles.
On the men’s side, Brian Smith and Logan Capicio were fifth in men’s doubles.
The next action is Jan. 21-22 at Concordia University College in Edmonton.
