The Red Deer Rebels slim WHL playoff hopes remain alive.

Red Deer downed the Moose Jaw Warriors 6-4 on Tuesday night and with six games left in the season, the Rebels trail the Swift Current Broncos by 12 points for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. 

The Rebels got big performances from their stars in the game, with Nashville Predators draft pick Kalan Lind scoring twice and adding three assists, while Seattle Kraken prospect Ollie Josephson also had two goals and three helpers. 

Defenceman Keaton Dowhaniuk also scored his first goal as a Rebel and Peyton Shore stopped 26 shots to earn the victory. 

Red Deer has a 25-30-5-2 record on the year. They will face the Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday and a win would keep their playoff hopes alive.
