UXBRIDGE, Ont. — Red Deer Golf and Country Club member Tom Skinner carded a 6-over par 78 Wednesday and failed to survive the 70-player cut at the Canadian men’s mid amateur championship.
Skinner, who turned in a score of 80 during Tuesday’s opening round, finished with a 36-hole total of 14-over 158. The cut was set at 11-over.
Americans Michael Brown (72-68) of Cheltenham, Pa., and Rob Couture (69-71) of Dallas shared the lead after two rounds with 4-under totals of 140.
