Summer is here, and that means it’s time for block parties with the neighbours, staff appreciation events in the park, and dozens of other gatherings with savoury food and good company.

But who’s catering?

Why don’t you let Red Deer’s new Mexican joint —GUAC Mexi Grill — take care of it?

“We regularly cater for monthly staff meetings, customer appreciation events, community groups and schools!” says Raj Multani, owner of Red Deer’s latest, favourite Mexican restaurant.

For your wedding late-night snack, your birthday pool party or team-building staff party, the restaurant located in northeast Red Deer has become renowned across the city for its tasty, healthy, and affordable menu.

GUAC’s birthday is June 15!

To celebrate, all burritos are Buy-One-Get-One-Half-price, for any burrito on the menu.

“Guac is a women-led, Canadian company — the first location opened in Brantford, Ontario in June 2016, and we’re now Canada’s fastest-growing premium, fast-casual Mexican restaurant,” Multani says. “Offering Buy-One-Get-One burritos is just one small way we’re saying thanks to our customers for their support in our success.”

Here are some of the deals GUAC has to offer:

  1. For last-minute planners: Submit orders for groups of 30 people or less with just 24 hours’ notice (larger orders require just 48 hours). Guac Mexi Grill is happy to cater events of all sizes, from 10 people to 200+.
  2. For picky eaters: There’s something for everyone on the menu, including burritos, tacos, salads, bowls, chips and dips and desserts. Guests can enjoy items that are also gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, keto, and sensitive to nut and soy allergies. Easily order online, or call 403-333-9800 to chat with Multani, who was raised in Red Deer, if you have any questions about your order.
  3. For fanatics of fresh ingredients: Guac Mexi Grill only prepares enough food to last to the end of each day, meaning everything from their salsa verde to their barbacoa has been made in the last 24 hours. “It’s more labour-intensive, but it’s worth it. You can taste the freshness at the end of the day,” Multani says.
  4. For the budget-conscious: It seems like everything is more expensive these days, but savvy shoppers can still find nutritious, mouth-watering meals at affordable prices.
