Get a first look at the new design and expanded store during the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. Friday, May 31. The first three customers in line will receive a London Drugs gift card, and the first customer will be invited to participate in the ribbon cutting!
The celebration continues June 1 to 3, with great deals throughout the store. Plus, from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, the Vancouver Aquarium brings the ocean to the Prairies with the AquaVan, a mobile education experience featuring live animals, marine artifacts and hands-on interactive activities designed to encourage stewardship of oceans and waterways.
What’s inside the new Red Deer London Drugs?
Walk-in Medical Clinic - Accepting new patients, the recently opened clinic makes non-urgent health care more accessible for Red Deer residents who may not currently have a family physician or are unable to see their physician quickly. Together with the pharmacy, the clinic will provide access to convenient, coordinated health care.
Pharmacy – An expanded consultation area and private consultation rooms support the expanded role of pharmacists in delivering a range of personalized health and wellness services including consultations, immunizations and point-of-care testing.
Cosmetics – Find exclusive, luxury cosmetic lines and an expanded selection of trusted favourites in the new beauty department.
Electronics – Your one-stop shop for technology essentials, the open technology environment and hosted workshops support customers’ connectivity needs for home and office.
Learning Lab – Trained London Drugs experts offer comprehensive educational workshops on topics from health and wellness to technology and sustainability in a classroom-style setting. The Learning Lab will also be available for local community groups, educators and experts.
London Drugs celebrates 35 years in Red Deer with continued support for the greater community
London Drugs has supported various charities during its 35 years in the city including Red Deer Regional Hospital, the Red Deer Immigrant Centre and Covenant Care. The store will continue this commitment with a $5,000 donation to the Red Deer Food Bank in celebration of the grand re-opening.
