An orange cast covers the town of Alpine, Ariz., as smoke billows in from the Wallow Fire burning in the Bear Wallow Wilderness southwest of Alpine, Ariz., on Thursday. A pre-evacuation order was issued for the town of Alpine. The fire has burned 40,500 acres of forest land and is being fanned by strong winds. It’s at zero containment.
