Blackfalds RCMP are searching for a masked, armed robber who held up Blackfalds Fas Gas on Wednesday night.
Police say a lone male with a hand gun demanded cash and cigarettes from the clerk at about 11:43 p.m.
The robber left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes and took off east on Panorama Drive.
The employee was not physically injured, but was emotionally shaken up.
The Blackfalds RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the robber. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or the Blackfalds RCMP at 403-885-3300.
