REGINA — Saskatchewan RCMP are confirming that a body found on a rural property they were searching is that of a man who disappeared four months ago.
Police say in a news release that an autopsy has identified the body as that of Rob Vicente (vih-SEN’-tay).
Authorities have not said how Vicente died.
The body was discovered Monday while a forensic anthropologist and police officers with dogs were combing a farm near Davidson.
Vicente, who was 25, was last seen leaving his mother’s house on Oct. 10 and his burned-out car was found two days later in a farm field.
Two men charged with first-degree murder and robbery made their first court appearance earlier this week.
