A sexual assault case against convicted sex offender Graham James has been remanded to March 31 in Winnipeg provincial court.

WINNIPEG — A sexual assault case against convicted sex offender Graham James has been remanded to March 31 in Winnipeg provincial court. James was a prominent junior hockey coach in Western Canada from the 1970s through to the 1990s. He currently faces nine charges stemming from alleged encounters between 1979 and 1994 involving three boys, one of them former Calgary Flames NHL star Theo Fleury. Court was told Thursday that the Crown and defence are still having discussions. James has not entered a plea. He was released on bail last December and has been living in Montreal.
