The National September 11 Memorial and Museum is under construction, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the World Trade Center site in New York. President Barack Obama will meet at the memorial Thursday with families of victims of the September 11, 2001 attacks, following the death of Osama bin Laden on Sunday in Pakistan. The memorial is scheduled to open to the public in time for the tenth anniversary to be held Sept. 11, 2011.
