A suspect has been arrested after a stabbing outside the School of Music at the University of Manitoba.

WINNIPEG — A suspect has been arrested after a stabbing outside the School of Music at the University of Manitoba.

Police say the victim was stabbed in the upper body Monday night during a fight.

They say the victim, who is between 20 and 25 years old, is believed to be a student at the university.

He is in stable condition in hospital.

There’s no word yet on charges.

University officials say the stabbing was isolated and the general campus wasn’t in any danger at any time.
